well yea what is your thoughts on good and evil?
what are you, well what do you think you are and why?
as I see good and evil, there is no purity in either, you can not find a being of only light and one only of darkness. Both would equal death.
they are counter-parts one can not survive without the other, with out good there wouldn't be evil and the other way around.
I would like to see myself as good, although I know I do wrong things at times, but still.......

there are places where pure good or pure evil can be found, mind you. pure good is in Heaven, and pure evil is that of hell.

i try to be good but there is always a bad side. Good and evil IN A PERSON balance each other out. Good/bad places, i dont think those can really be pure evil or good.

I don't think there is pure good and pure evil in Heaven and hell
god must have some point both have been good and evil since why else would he know what evil is and created it.

I believe the same as Zero...
No matter what you think there is always a good side to an evil being and vise versa. Even if that being may suppress their "good side" it doesn't mean that it's not there at all.

i believe that also, good must always be accompanied with evil, if there was a pure good then there would be no point in having the word evil at all, visa versa

Without good there is no evil.... and without evil there is no good. Everyone has to have a balance of both in their life.

I believe that a person has to have good and evil in them to exist. We, as a person, have the full power to decide for ourselves if we will be good or evil.

God did not create evil; Satan created evil. had he not tempted Adam and Eve, the world would have no sin. you've hit on a theological dualism (a herecy might I add, you might get burnt at the stake) First of all, "satan" did not tempt adam and eve, a snake did. Satan, does not appear anywhere in the bible, except in Job but it is widely agreed among scholars that this use of the word satan is simply for it's latin meaning "the opposer" and does correspond to the devil. and even if it did, this satan would still be an angel, and not an evil temptor, and would not have been an evil temptor at the time of adam and eve. |

reason why god is both good and evil:
alright god created Lucifer the bringer of light
Lucifer falls and by brining darkness he brang light
god created Lucifer knowing he would do that, he was created to give human the choice of both taking an evil path in life or a good one, cause without evil that would only be one path to follow and no free will.

there is no good nor evil. so, even out of a religious context, you don't think that some things are "better" and have more "quality" than others?? i only put those in quotes because it appears you don't think they exist |
