Does it? Or does it simply mean mischevious, like an imp? A lot of innocent mythological creatures were made out to be evil while the Church was stamping out Pagainsm.

if you wish to speak about the otherkin race demon, please look beyond all religious texts as they are mostly only lies.
All otherkin races origin back into one source of energy, therefore to maintain cosmic stability, each otherkin race is created with a counterpart race, and demons are therefore angels counterpart.
This does however not mean that demons are evil and doesn't mean that angels are good, as humans, otherkin have a free will to do what they desire as well, therefore they can be both good and evil.

Demons are not necesarily an opposing or otherwise counterpart to angels, where what an angel is, is very clearly know and defined in many places the word "demon" can refer to a very vast number enteties, anything from an imp or a satyr, to a fallen angel or an extremly powerful archdevil, the numbers and variety of demons are indeed to vast to assign a morel alignment to then, and even i would think such words as "good" and "evil" could be accuarate to describe even a specific faction, for even creatures best know for their kindness and generocity have commited equal horrible think, many angels are know for genicide and plauge, as well are demons know for healing, point being it is fooling to judge any race by what you have heard about it, since they can be just as vast and differient as humans.

Firstly, I'd like to know if anyone here has even been in the presence of a demon. >_>
I have, and even been partly possessed by one. (Luckily, we banished that f*cker to hell.) The feeling is like that of this confusion and terror, and twitchiness... It was one of the strangest feelings I've ever experienced. To those who live around me, stay away from CF....that place is evil. xD Blue devils? They should be Blue Demons!!! >;O

I know that the word 'demon' comes from the Greek word meaning lesser diety..spirit...but I don't use it in that sort of way.
Anyway, did he call himself a demon, or did it look like the stereotypical demon?

he called himself a demon, he was like many other an otherkin born into a physical body.
