Each color has it's individual energy with it's individual properties. This thread will display the significance of each color. However, the effect of the color of specific aspects of magick will be listed on the other boards. More coming soon. |

Indepth Colors Red: The color red is related to the planet Mars and the element of fire, which are both aggressive and masculine energies. It is used to promote courage, to lend energy to the body, and to provide additional power to rituals. The color represents passion, lust, strength, anger, sexual love, action, deep affection, willpower, survival, and the root chakra. It also represents the day of the week: Tuesday. Healing wise, the color red is linked with blood. It is worn to relieve anemia, stop bleeding, and to heal wounds. It's also known to work on rashes and inflammation. The color red also represents life and birth. It is said that pregnant women wore red jewels to prevent miscarriages. Pink: Pink is a calming, soothing color. It is used to release stress and relax the physical body as well as the mind. The color is sometimes thought to be ruled by Venus. However, green is actually more Venusian. It represents the day of the week of: Friday. It is used to attract a love or to strengthen love already present. It may work to smooth over difficulties in long-standing relationships. Pink is worn to promote self-love, peace, happiness, joy, compassion, tenderness, harmony, affection, romance, laughter, friendship and spiritual healing. It stimulates the lighter emotions, help attract friends, and encourage openness towards others. Yellow: Yellow is ruled by Mercury and are used for communication purposes. This includes writing, and public speaking as well. The color is also ruled by the Sun and the element, Air. It is said to be used to strengthen the conscious mind. It represents healing, self-esteem, intellect, intuition, goodness, beauty, light, life, truth, vitality, intelligence, study, persuasion, creativity, and prosperity. The color is worn during magickal rites to help visualize the goal more easily. The days of the week connected to Yellow is: Sunday and Wednesday. Healthwise, the color yellow is used to promote digestion, regulate the nervous system, and help with skin problems. |
