I'm not sue if this is the right place to put this if not could one of the mods please move it thanks.
Does everyone have one? How do you find out what yours is? How do you 'talk' to it? Does the animal choose you or do you choose it?

everyone as far as I know has a creature of sorts in their totem, in my case I have two bears as main spirit guides', an adult and a child, however I also have just about every hunting bird such as the Eagle, Falcon and Buzzard as 'lesser' spirit guides. Communicating with this is a bit like communicating with your astral being, it can be done through meditation or for the skilled people, just by closing their eyes and focusing a bit. Becoming aware of the spiritguides are after what I know maybe a bit more difficult task.
And if the animal chose us or we chose them? I don't think it's either...I think our spirit guides are a manifistation of ourselves.

Thank you, when ever I have tried I always see a panther but I thought it maybe just wishful thinking as I love panthers and have felt drawn to them all my life.
