Has anyone tried the Women of the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong? They go as follows:
Bitten(werewolf) Stolen(werewolf) Dime Store Magic(FICTIONAL witch, but with a lot to say about prejudice against magic-users) Industrial(ficwitch, sorcerer) Haunted(ghost/half-demon/ficwitch) Broken(werewolf) No Humans Involved(necromancer, not released yet)
These lovely ladies KICK @$$

Also, the Wicked series (by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie) about reincarnated ficwitches who are destineed to love and destroy another because their families are rival magical powers. They're really good (and really intense. Reader beware) even if the "magic" practiced isn't always real, the authors did add a note to say that they weren't writing about Wicca. And they are very well grounded in mythology.

xD I hate how Wicca has been become so stereotypical.
