Do you think there is a reason to everyone?
Do you think your paths are already chosen and you are just following them?
What are your thoughts on this?

a reason for everyone, yes I kinda believe so, if our pat is already chosen? I can't really say, I see my own future and I haven't been able to change what I see, so maybe, I am not sure.

Hmm.... Uriel brought up a good point... Like him I also have the gift of foresight. But if you think about it... to have those gifts would mean, in some way, that our paths are already set. How else would we be able to predict them??

whats the point in living if your path is already set? did god/dess not give us free will for a reason? If our paths are set there are no such things as choices and without choices we have no freedom. That would mean we are like slaves bound to do what we are told to do until the end.

you are right in that we have free will, Seph, God gave us free will so that we can have choices. this may be a bit complicated to explain... there is no way to know what outcomes your coices will have, unless of course you are one of those few that posses foresight. even then, we are destined to make certain choices; in other words, our destiny is set by God, and our free will is controled by our destiny. it is i guess im sorta tryin to say that destiny and free will are intertwined. when you make a choice, you were destined to make that choice.

you can say to some point your destiny is encoded before birth cause if you think about it you don't have any choices cause you would do as you would do, so that means you wouldn't do anything else at that moment.

I think there is a reason to everyone.
i think maybe that your path may already be set, but you still have free will and make your own choices. Somehow, maybe, your choices just follow that path. Even if they did, you would never prolly never know it so in the end it would just be free will anyway.

ok, sorry to havre to quote matrix here...but i think this is a truthful valid point...
"No one can see past a choice they don't understand..."
so even those with foresight can't see farther than a choice they dont fully understand, therefore, i believe that those are the completly free will choices. I believe that those are the ones that rely completly on us.

okie i have a new theory/belief!!!! lol When you sleep and dream you are asking your subconsious "what do you think of my life?" so it responds by planning events and actions for you. So when the time comes to make a choice, your subconsious has already chosen for you and that you were in a way destined to choosing that, but of your own will. Not consious will, but its still your choice.  |

that is a bit farfetched SS dreams (not counting psi-dreams) are genereated by inpresions given through your day, sounds shapes, colors, tastes, smells and feelings shapes what dreams you are going to have, it's right they are developed in your subconsience through some plains in it. if you do not dream and get these imprints out you will go insane <.< >.> got a bit off-topic there |

I think everything revolves around choice. and just because you can see your future that doesn't mean there is no free will. Your future is only going to be that way because of choices you have made and will make. It doesn't matter that your choice can be foreseen, you still make it, and you still could easily not make the choice, your "free will" to do so has not been necessarily removed. If that makes any sense, I don't explain the theory very well sometimes
